I've lost contact with the orgs in the Erie area living an hour away as I do. The winter has been too hard and too long, and I need to reconnect with the pagan community because that is my heart. The spring events are always my favorites, because its like things come to life again, and I can physically reconnect with the earth. I love to start the planting, getting my gardens cleared out, and having evening fires to say goodbye to last years life. Anyone else feel that way?

About 185 people from all over came for Erie's 4th Annual Pagan Pride Day on September 13 at St. Nick's Grove, Erie PA. This was down a bit from the number of people attending last year. There was rain for most of the day, which probably kept attendance down. As in years past, the event was sponsored by the United NeoPagan Council of Lake Erie (U-N-C-L-E)
